A Market Harborough Mum is urging parents to be guard after finding several used syringes in the Welland Park toilets.

She discovered them scattered on the floor of the restroom, after taking her toddler in on Saturday.

Harborough District Council says the syringes were cleared as soon as the matter was reported.

A spokesperson told Hfm: “This matter was reported to us over the weekend and the syringes were cleared and safely disposed of on the same day. The public toilets in Welland Park are cleaned and checked on a daily basis and we will continue to monitor them regularly.”
