Search For Cat Driven Away On Trailer

A search has been launched for a family’s pet cat after it was driven away on a trailer from outside their house.
CCTV shows Princess, aged in her teens, climbed on it just before the Severn Trent Water vehicle left Coltbeck Avenue in Narborough on Tuesday lunchtime, and headed for Harborough Road in Kibworth.
The cat’s owners are desperate for information as Princess requires medication for a condition which makes her hungry and thirsty.
It is thought she may have jumped off the trailer en-route to Kibworth, or when she got to the village.
The vehicle left Narborough on the B4114.
Princess is micro-chipped and was wearing a red sparkly collar with a bow on it.
Severn Trent Water have been in contact with the family and say they will do all they can to help.
