Former Employee Of Kibworth Medical Centre Charged With Fraud Offences

A former employee of Kibworth Medical Centre has been charged with fraud offences totalling over £184,000.
Kirsty Whawell, 40, of Kimberley Street, Kibworth Beauchamp, is accused of six counts of fraud by abuse of position and one count of fraud by false representation.
The offences are alleged to have taken place between 2013 and 2019.
She will appear before Leicester Magistrates on Monday.
The charges follow an investigation by Leicestershire Police’s economic crime unit, launched in 2019.
