Suspected Illegal Immigrants Found In Lorry

Three suspected illegal immigrants were arrested in Dunton Bassett after a lorry driver heard voices coming from the trailer.
The three men were found hiding amongst boxes and detained by Police on an industrial estate off the A426 Lutterworth Road.
The men, who are aged 22, 23 and 25 and believed to be from Iran, were detained and handed over to the UK Immigration Services.
A Leicestershire Police spokesman told Hfm: “At around 6.30am on Tuesday 23 February officers received a report from the driver of a lorry parked at an industrial estate on Lutterworth Road near Dunton Bassett.
“Officers attended and a 22-year-old man, a 23-year-old man and a 25-year-old man, all of no fixed address, were arrested and handed to the immigration service.”
