Cases of Coronavirus across Harborough are falling again, after the District was one of just 12 areas in the country to see a rise last week.
That was mainly due to a Covid-19 outbreak at Gartree Prison.
Latest figures from Public Health England show the weekly infection rate per 100,000 people fell from 174.8 to 136.5 in the seven days to February 19th, with 36 less people testing positive for Covid-19, a 22% fall in cases.
The figure is still above the national average of 119.5 per 100,000 people.
The Harborough District is now placed 98th in a list of 325 areas of the country, number 1 having the highest infection rate, which is Corby in Northamptonshire.
