Stolen Dog Back Home After Found Beside Railway

A dog stolen from the garden of a house in Kibworth Harcourt has been found safe and well.

Betsy, a Chow Chow, was spotted beside the railway tracks at the back of Warwick Park in the village just before 2pm today, by someone walking their dog.

She has now been reunited with her delighted owners Rachel and Kieran Wade.

The dog was stolen on Saturday night from the back of the couple’s home in Barndards Way, after the thief or thieves cut a padlock to a gate.

Rachel is thanking all who shared the appeal to find her and told Hfm they are so pleased to have Betsy back:

Betsy was checked over by a vet, after appearing to have a sore face, possibly from a muzzle being placed on her.
