Firefighters Free Driver From Car After Crash

Firefighters had to cut a driver free after a two-car crash in Thurnby yesterday evening.
It happened on Station Road, near to the Fern Close junction, just before 4.45pm.
The roof of a VW Polo was removed, so the driver to be safely taken out of the car.
They were taken to hospital with injuries Police say are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
The driver of the other car was not seriously injured.
The road was closed while emergency services worked at the scene and the vehicles involved were recovered.
