Harborough Youth Centre Launches Urgent Fundraising Appeal

A Market Harborough youth centre has launched a £5000 fundraising appeal so it can continue providing vital counselling to young people.

The Cube has seen its finances badly hit during the Coronavirus pandemic, with groups not hiring out space at its base at the Symtington’s Recreation Ground.

Charlotte Cooper, the Youth Work manager at the Cube, spoke to Hfm:

The Cube, which celebrates its 15th birthday this year, need to raise £5,000 so it can provide counselling to young people for another six months.

The service is in its 8th year and has helped over 130 young people, offering Therapeutic care to those who most need it and can’t afford to go private or wait for NHS care.
