Flytipper Fined After Caught Red-Handed Dumping Rubbish

A man caught red handed dumping rubbish in a country lane and a woman who paid him to take it away have both been fined hundreds of pounds by Harborough Council.

Covert CCTV captured the moment the household waste was fly-tipped on Houghton Lane in Stoughton last month.

The man from Narborough, who has not been named, has been handed a £400 fixed penalty notice for flytipping, and the homeowner from the Blaby area fined £300, for failing to ensure the rubbish would be properly disposed of.
