MP Backs ‘Shop Local’ Campaign As He Visits Businesses

Harborough’s MP is throwing his weight behind the ‘Shop Local’ campaign and is encouraging people to support independent retailers in Market Harborough, or risk losing them.

Neil O’Brien has been visiting business owners in the town centre, as they battle to survive the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic.

It is the second week that ‘non-essential’ retailers have been allowed to re-open their doors, following the relaxation of the government’s lock-down restrictions.

He told Hfm it is vital people continue to support independent shops and businesses:
