Harborough’s PPE Volunteers’ Plight Raised In House Of Commons

The plight of volunteers from Market Harborough, who were forced to stop making vital PPE for front-line health workers fighting the Coronavirus, has been raised in the House of Commons.

They had to down tools last month, together with hundreds nationwide, after being told the items, like face shields, would have to be accredited at a cost of over £1,000.

The government has pledged to deal with issue, so they can begin making them again, after Harborough MP Neil O’Brien raised it at Business Questions yesterday, hosted by Leader of the House, Jacob Rees-Mogg.
