The street floor stencilling is one measure being put in place by Harborough Council, to help manage queues and encouraging people to follow certain routes.

Public hand sanitisers are also being installed and a team of town centre helpers will be on-hand to assist in promoting social distancing and safe shopping.

Some on-street parking bays will also be shut to allow more space for pedestrians to pass each other safely.

The Council has also announced parking charges will be reintroduced in its car parks in the coming weeks, in-line with more businesses re-opening, although no date has yet been set.

They were suspended in March due to the Coronavirus lockdown.
