Booking System Opens To Use Market Harborough Tip

People can now book a slot to visit Market Harborough tip when it re-opens on Monday.

An on-line booking system has been launched as those wanting to use the waste and recycling site on Riverside will also be able to do so with an appointment.

It’s one of seven being re-opened by Leicestershire County Council, which is asking people to only take what they can’t safety store at home.

Social distancing and traffic management measures will be in place and there will be a restriction on the number of visits to the sites, only one booking will be allowed over a 14-day period.

Only residents of Leicestershire will be able to use the facility, which will be open seven days a week.

The waste and recycling site at Oadby is also re-opening on Monday, although Kibworth tip will remain closed.
