Boris Johnson has shared get well pictures made by a Market Harborough youngster on his Facebook page.

Sophia Blyth, aged 5, who goes to the Market Harborough C of E Academy, sent them to the Prime Minister while he was being treated for Coronavirus.

Mr Johnson took time over the weekend to catch-up with dozens of good wishes sent to him by children across the country and said: “Thank you for all the wonderful messages you sent me when I was unwell, and for all you are doing to keep yourselves and others safe.”

A Market Harborough voluntary counselling agency is today launching a telephone support service for people in need of help during the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Bower House had to suspend its face-to-face work in March in-line with government guidance, at a time some people were in great need of emotional support.

Trained volunteers are manning two dedication phone lines on Mondays and Wednesdays between 9am & 4pm, Thursday 2pm till 8pm and Fridays 9am till 4pm.

Kibworth youngster Jacob Stone has launched a radio station in his bedroom, to keep his friends at The Kibworth School, and their parents up to date during the Coronavirus outbreak.
