Appeal After Bikes Stolen

Police are appealing for information after a pensioner’s mountain bike was stolen from outside Lidl in Kettering Road, Market Harborough.

The silver Trek bike, which has black mud guards on the front and back, was taken sometime between 8.40am and 9.15am on Tuesday, after the thief removed a lock that was securing it to a metal railing.

Police say it may have been discarded somewhere, or people may have been approached by someone trying to sell it.

A bike was also stolen from outside the Royal Mail sorting office on Riverside on the same morning.
