New CCTV System Switched On In Kibworth

A new CCTV system has been switched on in the centre of Kibworth Beauchamp, in a bid to help combat crime and anti-social behaviour.

Kibworth Beauchamp Parish Council has spent just over £13,500 on the move, using cash provided by housing developers.
Police are welcoming it – PC Steve Winn, the Neighbourhood Officer for Kibworth, spoke to Hfm:
The network of four cameras are linked to the CCTV control room in Market Harborough, where pictures are being monitored around the clock by Harborough Council.
