Fundraisers are getting set to make a big splash for charity in Market
Harborough this weekend.
The annual SwiMarathon is taking place at the Leisure Centre and it’ll
be extra special since it’s the tenth year of the big fundraiser.
Teams of up to six people will swim in relay for fifty minutes non-stop
at the Hfm-backed event, organised by the Rotary Club of Market
Harborough.
Money raised through sponsorship will be handed out to local community
groups across Harborough – last year that was seven thousand pounds.
Spectators are welcome, and the event timings are: Saturday March 7th
from 3pm-8pm and Sunday March 8th from 3pm-8pm.
