Graffiti Daubed At Skatepark

Vandals have daubed graffiti on one of the ramps at the skate park in Little Bowden.

It is the third time such damage has been caused at the site off Bellfields Lane.

The Harborough Wheels Project, who campaigned to get the facility built, say the paint make skateboards, scooters and bikes lose grip, so poses the safety hazard.

Harborough Council are to deal with the graffiti – a spokesman said: “It is disappointing that a small minority have seen fit to daub graffiti at this popular site. The Council will be cleaning this up and we urge anyone who has information about this incident to contact police.”
