Others Targeted With Eggs

Police investigating how a motorcyclist was blinded in one eye when an egg was thrown at him have received reports of similar incidents in and around Market Harborough on the same night.

The 31-year-old rider suffered the life-changing injury when the egg was thrown at him from an oncoming car as he rode toward Wigston on Friday night.

Following an appeal a number of people have come forward saying they were targeted in a similar fashion.

The vehicle believed to have been involved, a red Seat Leon 69-plate car, has been recovered and a 17- year-old-boy remains on bail after being arrested.
