Man Denies Stabbing In Market Harborough

A man is to go on trial after denying stabbing another man in Market Harborough town centre.

Warren Mills, 20, appeared at Leicester Crown this morning accused of the attack on the High Street on the evening of November the eighth last year.

He pleaded not guilty to causing grievous bodily harm and possessing a knife in a public place.

The High Street was closed by Police following the stabbing

The victim, aged 38, from Market Harborough, suffered a serious stab wound to his chest and spent several days in hospital.

Mills, of New Romney Close, Leicester, who was released on bail with conditions including not entering Market Harborough and abiding by a night-time curfew, will face trial in April.
