Plan For Coach Park ‘On-Going’

The proposed site
Plans for coach park in Market Harborough remain on-going according the Harborough Council.
It was announced in June 2018 it would go on land adjacent to the Market Hall Car Park off Northampton Road, as part of a new 30-space car park.
To date though, no planning application has been submitted.
£400,000 was set aside to buy the land and build the car park – the Council says technical work continues to deliver it although has not revealed any timescale.
There have been calls for some years for a dedicated place for coaches – it’s hoped more touring companies will add Market Harborough to their lists of places to run trips to, when a place for vehicles to park easily is available.
