An ‘Eco Village’ is to be launched in Market Harborough to enable people to shop ethically all under one roof.
It will be based on St Mary’s Road, in the former Plumb Center building, and be a home to around 20 traders and producers, all selling locally sourced products.

The move is the brainchild of entrepreneur Beth Lambert, who runs Refill Revolution at Harborough Market, and her business partner Beth Awdry.
Beth Lambert spoke to Hfm:
There will also be a café and there are plans too for a community garden and a community hub, with space for events and courses to be run.
Work is taking place inside the building ahead, of the launch of the project in the New Year.”
