New Group Aims To Clean-Up

A new volunteer group has been set-up in Market Harborough in a bid to make the town look better.
Called ‘Small Town Eco Warriors,’ they will hold their second community litter pick this Saturday along the Millennium Mile and are encouraging people to join them.

Rubbish collected during the first litter-pick
The group is meeting on the bridge opposite the railway station at 11am on Saturday and plans to hold regular litter-picks going forward.

The first litter pick in September saw seven bin-bags collected from the car park adjacent to the river off Rockingham Road.
