A CCTV camera could be placed at the Little Bowden Recreation Ground after anti-social behaviour problems.
Harborough Council say the siting of a temporary camera will be considered if the issue continues.
Around 50 youths gathered on Saturday night and as well as causing a disturbance left a large amount of litter including smashed bottles.
A litter bin was also ripped out of the ground.
Cllr Phil Knowles spoke to the Council following the incident and suggested a camera is placed in the park.
A Council spokesman told Hfm: “Whilst anti-social behaviour is uncommon at the recreation ground; we are continuing to work with police, and other agencies, to monitor activity and temporary CCTV is one option that will be considered if problems were to reoccur.”
