Written by on 24th September 2019

AldiMarket Harborough’s Aldi supermarket is searching for a new charity or group to support with regular food donations.

The store already supports some, but has the capacity to link-up with another to give surplus food to, such as fruit, vegetables and baked goods, one day a week.

Aldi spokesman Steve Butterworth said: “Food surplus is a challenge, and one that Aldi is committed to addressing. Finding more partner groups in Market Harborough is critical to ensure surplus food finds its way easily and quickly to the communities that need it most.

Any local charities in Market Harborough who are looking to partner up with an Aldi store should email aldi@neighbourly.com to apply.
