Man Attacked Woman Near Dingley

A convicted serial rapist has been found guilty of further sex attacks including one on a woman in a remote wood near Dingley ten years ago.
Jason Lawrance wrapped a belt around her neck during the assault an area known as Bluebell Woods in February 2009 after meeting her on match.com.

The 54 year old, who was jailed for life in 2016, was found guilty of that attack and four others at Derby Crown Court yesterday – he’ll be sentenced in October.
The latest victims came forward after his “criminality filtered out into homes across the country” during news reports covering the first trial.
