School Funding Issue Raised By MP

Harborough MP Neil O’Brien has raised the issue of school funding in the House of Commons

Concerns have been expressed by the Academy Trust that runs Farndon Fields in Market Harborough and Kibworth Primary Schools.

It says they will face tough choices and difficult decisions over the next few years because of funding pressures.

Some classroom support staff at Ridgeway Primary Academy in Market Harborough were also placed at risk of redundancy last month as part of cost-saving plans.
