One-Way System To Start

Written by on 29th April 2019

Kettering Road in Market Harborough is being made one-way to traffic as the next phase of works to replace water pipes begin.

Drivers will only be able travel up the road towards the A6, from the junction with Gores Lane, from today, with traffic stopped from turning left off the A6 at Clack Hill.

The one-way system will be in place for four months as Severn Trent continue to lay new pipes in a bid to stop leaks and bursts.

The company is spending £2m replacing a mile of pipes across the town over the next year.
