Bridge Works Completion Delayed Again
Written by HFM News on 29th April 2019
The completion of work to upgrade the railway bridge between Market Harborough and Great Bowden Road is facing another delay.
It means traffic lights – that were due to be removed yesterday – will now remain in place for another two weeks – until May 12th.
Network Rail says ‘unexpected ground conditions’ are to blame and have once again apologised for the inconvenience.
The work – part of the Line Speed Improvement Project – began in January and was due to be completed by the start of March before the first delay was announced.
