New Cheese & Ale Festival Gets Underway

A new three-day Cheese and Ale festival has begun in Market Harborough.

Taking place on The Square, an array of cheeses and ales are on offer from local, regional and international traders.

Harborough Council has teamed up with RR Events to host the event, which is also showcasing food traders from the company’s Continental Street Market.

Mark Perris, head of economic development at the Council, said: “It is fantastic that Harborough district can attract new festivals such as this.

“We welcome any event that brings visitors into town and hope that people come out to support the festival and see what it, and the town, has to offer.”

The event runs from 10am to 6pm today and tomorrow; and from 10am to 5pm on Sunday.
