Investigation After Barn Blaze

An investigation is underway after a barn was badly damaged by fire in the village of Laughton.

Firefighters from Market Harborough were called to Gumley Road just before 6.30pm yesterday and found the metal structure, that contained hay and straw, well alight when they arrived.

They quickly dealt with the blaze to prevent it spreading to a caravan near-by.

Nobody was injured – the cause of the fire is not yet known.
