Market Harborough is set to get its first official coach park in a bid to attract more tourists.
Harborough Council has bought a parcel of land adjacent to the Market Hall Car Park off Northampton Road.

The proposed site
Subject to planning permission, it’ll create a new car-park there, with spaces for coaches and around 30 cars.
The Council set aside £400,000 for the purchase, the clearing of the site, and creating the new car park.
There have been calls for some years for a dedicated place for coaches to park, with the hope touring companies will add Market Harborough to their lists of places to run trips to, if a place for vehicles to park easily is available.
