Work To Start On Business Park Expansion

Work is about to begin on the major expansion of a Market Harborough business park.

The £7m project will see new industrial units built on 13 acres of land at the Airfield Farm business area off Harborough Road – adjacent to the Innovation Centre.

They will range in size from 1500sq feet to over 33,000sq ft and create much-needed space for expanding companies.

It’s estimated up to 80 jobs will be created by the development, which is set to be completed by the autumn.

Leicestershire County Council is behind it – once fully occupied it will raise an estimated £500,000 a year through rent to invest into front line services.
