Environmental Crime Clampdown

Written by on 14th February 2019

A new bid to catch litter louts, flytippers and those who fail to clean up after their pets across Harborough is to set to be launched.

The Council wants to employ a dedicated Environmental Crime Civil Enforcement Officer.

They would be used to patrol flytipping hotspots, in a bid to catch illegal dumpers, target people throwing litter from vehicles and those allowing dogs to foul without picking up the mess.
