‘Persistent’ Shoplifter Jailed Again

A shoplifter arrested yesterday for stealing in Market Harborough on Monday, has today been jailed for 16 weeks.
Gary Parker admitted stealing dog food from Co-Op and Wilko in the town centre at Leicester Magistrates.
The court heard the 32-year-old, of no fixed abode, had breached his Prison Licence release conditions, after serving a sentence in December for other shop thefts.
A forfeit ordered was made by Magistrates on a lock-knife which Parker was carrying when Police arrested him.
