Bus Collides With Car

A woman was taken to hospital after a car was involved in collision with a double-decker bus near Braybrooke this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Desborough Road just before 1.30pm.
Police say the female driver of the car suffered injuries not thought to be serious.
The bus driver and none of the passengers on-board the Stagecoach service were hurt.
Stagecoach spokesman Chris Child told Hfm:
“There was an incident earlier today on the Desborough Rd where a car pull out of a side road into the path of the bus.
“The Stagecoach driver and passengers where unhurt and the car driver was taken to hospital. We wish her a speedy recovery.”
The road was closed for a time while emergency services worked at the scene and the vehicles were recovered.
