Plastic Pledge Launches
Written by HFM News on 25th January 2019
A campaign aimed at reducing dependence on single-use plastics has launched in Market Harborough today.
Those behind it want people to sign a pledge, that includes re-using plastic bags, buying loose fruit and vegetables instead of those in packs, and to recycle more.

Latest research shows by weight, there could be more plastic than fish in our oceans by the year 2050.
The launch of the Harborough Plastics Pledge – being spearheaded by Eco Church Harborough with support from Harborough Council, was held at the Indoor Market.

The launch took place today at Harborough Market
