Driver Injured In A508 Crash

A driver was taken to hospital after a two-car crash on the A508 between Market Harborough and Great Oxendon this morning.
The woman was cut out of the wreckage of a Mercedes by fire crews, who were called to the entrance to Waterloo Cottage Farm, just before 6.45am.
Police – who closed the road for over an hour – say her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Fire crews from Desborough & Kibworth attended the scene, alongside East Midlands Ambulance Service.
