Odeon Cinema In Kettering To Close

Odeon has announced its cinema in Kettering is to close.
The eight-screen out-of-town venue, which is popular with people from the Market Harborough area, will shut in January.

The closure will leave Kettering without a cinema.
Odeon has not revealed the reason for the closure, although it is understood it is linked to a proposed redevelopment of the area, off junction 9 of the A14.
An Odeon spokesperson said: “We can confirm that our Kettering cinema will close in January 2025.
“The team at Kettering are our number one priority and we will support them in the coming months.”
The closure announcement comes after Greene King last week announced the Hobson’s Choice pub near the cinema will shut next month.
