X3 Bus Changes To Benefit Harborough Passengers

Bus services between Market Harborough and Leicester will be better co-ordinated from the end of the month.
Operator Arriva is to change the timetable of its X3 service to offer a half-hourly service, better harmonising it with Stagecoach X7 buses, which currently run along the same route at similar times.
It follows calls by Harborough MP Neil O’Brien, who held a meeting with both companies earlier this year following concerns from passengers.
Arriva will also make alterations on where buses stop in Kibworth and in Great Glen, buses going to Market Harborough will join the A6 at Archers Roundabout, where it is easier to pull out into traffic compared to the Burton Brook slip road.
The changes will take effect from August 29th and Mr O’Brien told HFM it should be a real improvement for users of the buses:
