Woman & Girl Charged After Stolen Goods Recovered

A Market Harborough woman and a 13-year-old girl have been charged after police recovered stolen goods worth more than £2,500.

The pair are accused of stealing items including children’s clothing, footwear and pyjamas from shops at Leicester’s Fosse Park shopping centre on Tuesday.

They were arrested after officers carried out the search of a vehicle.

The woman, aged 30, appeared before Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday and was released on conditional bail, ahead of her next appearance in January.

The teenager is due to appear at Leicester Youth Court next month.
