Woman Found Dead At House In Market Harborough

The death of an elderly woman at a house in Market Harborough is not being treated as suspicious.
Police were called to an address on Welland Park Road yesterday lunchtime.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: “Shortly before 12.15pm yesterday (Monday 5 August) police were called by the East Midlands Ambulance Service after a woman – who is in her 80s – was found deceased inside an address in Welland Park Road, Market Harborough.
“Police attended the location to carry out initial enquiries at the scene.
“The woman’s death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious.
“Formal identification of the woman will be dealt with by HM Coroner.”
