Witness Appeal After Fatal Crash On A4303

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a fatal collision in Lutterworth on Wednesday evening.

The crash happened just before 6pm on the westbound A4303 near the junction 20 roundabout of the M1 and involved a silver Volkswagen Golf, a black Honda Civic, and a white Scania lorry, which was stationary in a layby at the time.

The driver of the Golf, a man in his 30s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

DC Madeleine Hayes, from Leicestershire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU), said enquiries are ongoing and urged anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.

She added: “Anything you’re able to provide, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could help.”
