Water Works In Kibworth

Severn Trent is to replace water pipes in part of Kibworth Beauchamp.

The work will begin on High Street – close to the Smeeton Road junction – in the middle of July, and continue into Fleckney Road where it is expected to be completed by the Dover Street junction in September.

Severn Trent say the work is needed because of extra demand on the water network as a result of new homes being built in the village.

Temporary traffic lights will be in use during it and parking restrictions will come into force on High Street.
