Water Leak Closes Road In Market Harborough

A water leak has closed a road in Market Harborough to traffic.
Severn Trent Water is working to fix the problem on Granville Street.

A Severn Trent spokesperson said: “Our team are on site on Granville Street, Market Harborough, working to repair a burst water pipe.
“Due to the location of the burst and to keep our team and road users safe, a temporary road closure in place.
“We know that roadworks can be inconvenient and we would like to apologies for any disruption. Our team is working hard to get everything back to normal as quickly as possible.”
It is understood the leak is not impact water supplies.
Leicestershire County Council granted the emergency road closure.
