Warning Of Scam Calls

Police have issued a warning about scam phone calls being made to elderly people in the Harborough District, offering a so-called ‘Community Assistance Scheme’ for residents over-50.
The caller states they need to arrange to visit the homeowner any time of the day or night to discuss it.
Officers are urging anyone who receives one to not divulge any personal information and to end the call.
Anyone concerned should call Police on 101.
