Volunteer Gardeners To Brighten Up Railway Station

Market Harborough Railway Station will soon be looking a lot brighter thanks to the town’s In Bloom team.

Volunteers have teamed up with East Midlands Railway to prepare a number of floral displays, including in large planters which used to be in the town centre.

Market Harborough In Bloom, which was recently selected to represent the east midlands in the Britain in Bloom competition, has received financial support from EMR and the Community Rail Network to support the work.

A number of the In-Bloom volunteers have become ‘Station Adopters’ to help prepare and look after displays.
