Villagers Vote To Adopt Neighbourhood Plans

Villagers in Hallaton and Misterton with Walcote have voted to adopt their Neighbourhood Plans.
Referendums were held yesterday, with an overwhelming number of residents supporting the documents, which include detailing preferred sites for new housing developments.
In Hallaton, 109 people voted in favour and 21 against, with a 30.4% turnout.
78 villagers in Misterton with Walote backed their plan, with 40 voting against. The turnout there was 31.4%.
25 Neighbourhood Plans have now been adopted across the Harborough District.
