Villagers Left Without Post Office After Shop Closure

Residents in Great Easton have been left without a Post Office after the village shop closed down.
The shop on High Street was temporarily closed during August for a refurbishment and its doors are now shut again.

The shop & Post Office has closed
A Post Office spokesperson told HFM: “The shop where Great Easton Post Office was based has closed.
“The temporary Postmaster, who had been operating the branch, has resigned and it closed on Friday 15 September.”
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the closure of this branch.
“Alternative branches in the area include Medbourne and Willowbrook Road, Corby.
“here is also Caldecott Mobile Post Office that visits the nearby Village Hall car park on a Wednesday from 11am – 12 noon”.
