Underground Fault Caused Power Cut

An ‘underground network fault’ caused a power cut in Market Harborough last night.
The outage affected over 670 properties in the town just before 7pm.

National Grid says supplies were restored with an hour
A National Grid Electricity Distribution spokesperson said: “At 6.59pm yesterday evening, a fault on our underground network caused a power cut affecting 674 properties in Market Harborough.
“All power was restored by 7.53pm, and we’d like to thank customers for their patience and understanding as we worked to get the lights back on.”
